As a pioneer in plastic Quick Connectors, we developed and patented our first two-button QC more than 20 years ago. Since then, we have constantly innovated to meet new customer requirements and prepare for emerging automotive industry trends.
As an expert in Quick Connectors, we are committed to quality and low permeation. Our QCs are leak tested and retaining springs are functionally tested during the assembly process, guaranteeing a quick and secure connection.
This patented ARaymond™ Quick Connector P2L® (Push to Lock) offers the advantage of a visual and tactile confirmation of the connection: The lock latches only once the end piece is fully engaged.
The lock is also larger and more robust to allow the tube to be crimped substantially without compromising the connection.
Compliant with the SAE J2044 standard, the Quick Connector P2L® is used for most car and truck fuel lines and battery and engine cooling lines. For transmission and engine oil cooling lines requiring higher operating pressure, a metal insert can be added to the Quick Connector P2L® to allow better tube crimping and higher pull-off force.

A fuel connector for severe conditions
The new Metal P2L® is a stainless steel version of the P2L® (“Push-to-Lock”) PPA plastic fuel connector. This new metal version offers improved crash test, temperature, and pressure performance.
The Metal P2L® is ideal for fuel-line connections in the engine compartment. It can also be assembled using crimping to reinforce high-temperature fuel hoses in the engine compartment. Unlike many other metal fluid connections on the market, it does not require a secondary latch or special tool for disassembly and provides packaging advantages over other manufacturers’ products for when space is limited.

ARaymond™ Quick Connectors now cover a broad range of diameters from 6.30-1/4’’ to Ø 37 metric standard, and NW6 to NW32 VDA standard. We can also adapt to any packaging environment with a wide range of geometries with angles from 0° to 90° and multiways. The button or lock can be offered at a variety of angles for enhanced accessibility.
Guaranteed secure connection for fluid integrity
This innovative design can provide a secure connection for all applications, with visual, tactile, or audible confirmation.
This patented ARaymond™ Quick Connector offers the advantage of a double locking system. The initial connection is automatic with audible confirmation. Once it is successfully completed, a second manual lock is required with a metal clip to provide tactile confirmation of a secure connection.
Compliant with the SAE J2044 standard, RayLOCK® Quick Connectors are particularly well-suited to fuel lines for the automotive and truck markets, and are available in a wide variety of diameters, angles, and window rotations to meet your needs.

The Assembly Check is an accessory used to confirm that the SAE J2044 end piece is securely connected. Two versions are available on our two-button QC.
Assembly Check pull tab
A plastic pull tab is automatically ejected, confirming that the end piece is fully engaged; the tabs can then be counted to check the number of secure connections.

A plastic poka yoke ensures that the correct end piece has been used; this version is mainly suitable for brake booster applications.

Securing the connection
The Double Lock accessory is used to visually check and secure the connection. When the plastic cap is pushed down, it prevents access to the two buttons, making it impossible to disconnect the Quick Connector.
The Double Lock is compatible with SAEJ2044 end pieces and also increases pull-off performance.

The Selfy Quick Connector exceeded the customer’s expectations, securing connection operations on the production line. Foolproof connection with audible, tactile, and visual confirmation in one assembly operation 100 % automatic.

Our Quick Connectors offer additional features to optimize your fluid lines, reduce the number of components, cut the number of assembly steps, and reduce costs.
This smart and compact Quick Connector is a two-in-one solution combining fluid connection and pressure measurement. It features a sensor that measures the pressure inside the tank and on the fuel line for OBD2‑compliant on-board self-diagnosis of fuel leaks.
The measurement range can be changed easily by changing the sensor; no additional parts are needed.
Other sensors (like temperature) and actuators are also available on request.

We drew on our expertise in fluid lines, leakage management, and assembly to integrate sensors and actuators into our QCs for better electrical and mechanical performance.
Our QCs with integrated electrical functions offer advantages in terms of assembly time reduction, increased quality of assembly, reduction of parts and weight, and better management of leakage risk. We offer the flexibility of integrating these sensors into different QC designs to meet specific requirements while always ensuring a robust integrated design for applications like liquid and vapor fuel, water cooling, and brake booster systems. Our mechatronics expertise is backed by our mechanical, environmental, and functional testing facilities.
Our valves are directly integrated to the QC and require no action from the operator to be switched on:
Shut-off valve is open when connected to an end piece and closed when disconnected.
One-way valve allows fluid to flow in one direction only.
Calibrated valve opens at a given fluid pressure and allows fluid to flow in one direction only.

Pressure regulator allows adjustments to the fluid for when accurate pressure control is required in relation to a functional pressure/flow rate curve.
The RG® Valve allows priming with the system for when access is required for maintenance or troubleshooting. The valve is manually opened or closed and has a drain feature.

Very early in the project, we simulate several concepts we then use to make recommendations to guarantee that the part perfectly matches the customer’s needs. Our growing range of VDA-compliant Quick Connectors comes in diameters from NW6 to NW32 and are used by the majority of OEMs.
Robust and compact, our VDA Quick Connectors are compatible with various coolant fluids such as glycol, oil, and dielectric fluid. ARaymond can also develop custom solutions to meet your needs. If you require a specific diameter, angle, hose connection, or head range, our engineers can develop a connector for you. Anti-rotation device are also available in multiple positions as are additional features like pressure and temperature measurement and control.

Very early in any new project, we use simulation to advise our customers on the best solution to achieve the required performance. Working with virtual models, we can provide static and dynamic mechanical, thermal, and fluids simulations. Our in-house testing lab allows us to generate our own material characterization data and to better align our numerical simulation models with real test.
