May 2011, a joint Innovation Day was held at Toyoda Gosei North America (TGNA) headquarters sponsored by Rayconnect Inc., and ARaymond Tinnerman Automotive.
Over 75 employees from TGNA’s Sales, Purchasing and Engineers visited our 5 display booths. Approximately 250 people work in the Headquarter Office that supports the 11 manufacturing sites in North America. Toyoda Gosei manufactures a variety of products from Fuel Systems to Safety, Sealing Systems, Functional Parts and Interior/Exterior Trim.
The “Push To Lock” range, future metal quick connector designs and forthcoming business for Rayconnect Inc. were the topics of many important discussions and much interest. ARaymond Tinnerman showcased their multiple product lines including metal fastening solutions, engineered plastics and closures.

This is the first time that an Innovation Day was held at TGNA’s Troy Michigan facility by a supplier. As a result of this successful event, the TGNA Purchasing Office team was presented with a “Gold Star” for recognition of efforts made working with a supplier.
In addition, due to the overwhelming success of this Innovation Day, TG is considering holding another show at their technical center, located in Plymouth, Michigan later this year.
